Created from a set of beautiful photos gifted to me by a dear friend for the specific purposes of transforming them into art. I wanted to capture the essence of what I thought the photographer saw taking each shot. Pelicans are a perfect example of a soft edge - strong and productive and often residing in semi-industrial areas where the fish can be found, yet comical and friendly. I tried to bring this out with the play of the bird’s qualities against cartoon coloured bright yellow brick walls of varying textures.
Ideal for a fun space, or child's room.
